GLO THERAPEUTICS MEDICAL FACIALS
Light chemical peels are a non-invasive treatment that remove the upper layers of dead and damaged skin and encourage skin cell regeneration. This type of peel provides gentle treatment for fine lines, acne, chronic dry skin, and uneven pigmentation. It can also prevent the development of a pre-cancerous skin condition called actinic keratosis. This is a rough, scaly patch on your skin that develops from years of exposure to the sun. It's most commonly found on your face, lips, ears, back of your hands, forearms, scalp or neck. Also known as a solar keratosis, an actinic keratosis enlarges slowly and usually causes no signs or symptoms other than a patch or small spot on your skin. These patches take years to develop, usually first appearing in people over 40.
If you have actinic keratosis you should not ignore it. You need to take steps to protect your skin from further sun damage and seek treatment to stop your symptoms from worsening. Skin peels are a gentle and effective way of treating actinic keratosis.
GENTLE TO MEDIUM DEPTH PEELS

COURSE OF FOUR PEELS TAILORED TO SUIT YOUR SKIN TYPE - this course will typically include 1 gentle peels, two medium strength and one stronger peel and will be tailored to suit your skin type.
Useful Information - the best time of year for to undergo a course of peels is the winter, although it is possible to have light enzyme peels throughout the year. This is because your skin will be more sensitive to the sun after a peel and it is easier to stay out of the sun in the winter months. After your peel you will need to use at least a SPF30 on your face and neck whether you plan to go out in the sun or not. Your skin may be more sensitive for a few days and you may notice that it is a little more dry than usual. This is normal, just use moisturiser when you need to. Generally, the skin does not peel excessively after a peel and often the peel occurs during your treatment. You will notice that your skin looks and feels soft and plump after a peel. The effects of a peel continue to develop post peel and if you undertake a course you will notice a lasting effect, with your skin looking and feeling rejuvenated and healthy.
